Our exclusive Superior Hotel Resort & Spa in Keitum Sylt is built in the traditional Frisian architectural style and is, with a continuous thatched roof of 5,000 m², one of the largest thatched roofs in Europe.
Our spacious and diverse accommodations include 62 luxuriously equipped rooms and suites in the main building, as well as 22 flats and 5 villas. The accommodations range from 38 to 400 m² and can accommodate up to 10 guests. Elegant natural materials guarantee comfort and well-being in an exclusive atmosphere. Our luxurious restaurants and the 2,000 m² spa area, with its three wonderful themed saunas and an oriental hammam, are just as unique as the hotel. We offer comfort and luxury, family-friendliness and customized offers to fulfill all of your wishes.

The 101 Best Hotels in Germany 2025
Severins Resort & Spa is proud to have been included in the exclusive list of Germany's 101 best hotels since 2020/2021. At the most recent awards ceremony on 9 November 2025, Severin*s Resort & Spa was named Luxury Waterside Hotel of the Year 2026. The hotel also took 10th place in the overall rankings.
The resort was also included in the list of the 101 best hotels in Switzerland, Austria, South Tyrol and Germany. In the overall ranking of all countries, the resort secured 7th place and was named Luxury Spa & Health Resort of the Year 2025.
These awards recognise the resort's ongoing commitment to excellent service and unforgettable guest experiences. Michelin Star
In March 2023, the Tipken's by Nils Henkel restaurant opened under a new concept. To mark its second birthday, it was awarded again a Michelin star in spring 2025, recognising outstanding culinary excellence and creative talent. This award underlines the high standard of offering guests unforgettable gastronomic experiences.
At Tipken's by Nils Henkel, chef René Verse and his team create a Nordic twist on the Flora & Fauna cuisine of namesake and patron Nils Henkel.

In recent years, MICHELIN Guide inspectors have selected more than 7,000 hotels around the world, creating an exceptional global hotel collection. Selection of German Luxury Hotels
Severin*s Resort & Spa is a member of the Selection of German Luxury Hotels, an association of German and Austrian luxury hotels that aims to shape and cultivate the culture of hospitality in Germany's top hotels.
Since its foundation in 1987, this exclusive circle of eight German and one Austrian luxury hotels has stood for a high level of service quality and tailor-made offerings.

Spa Star Award
Severin*s Resort & Spa was ranked among the top three in the spa concept category and is presenting its successful spa concept here.
The Spa Star Awards were presented for the ninth time by the publisher redspa media. The awards recognise outstanding hotels in seven different categories for outstanding achievements and concepts. The seven categories are: Newcomer, City Spa, Green Concept, Spa Concept, Health Concept, Spa Team and SPA Star Plus. Just being nominated was a win in itself. Three top-class hotels were nominated from a large number of applications. The ten-member jury of travel journalists, travel influencers, beauty and spa experts then selected their SPA Stars. The coveted audience award is chosen by the readers and users of SPA inside. Each hotel can present itself in a maximum of two categories plus the audience award.

Best Hospitality Boutique Hotel 2019
Severin*s Resort & Spa was honoured with the ‘Best Hospitality Boutique Hotel 2019’ award at the Connoisseur Circle Awards Gala at ITB (International Tourism Exchange) Berlin.
The Connoisseur Circle Hospitality Award is presented by the German-language travel magazine Connoisseur Circle. This is the seventh time that the awards for excellence and innovation in the international hotel industry have been presented. The hotels were evaluated on the basis of the editorial, focused view of specialist journalists, the professional assessment of experienced industry insiders and the collected impressions of numerous anonymous test visits. The jury was thoroughly impressed by the hotel's overall concept and confirmed the Severin*s philosophy of ‘arrive and feel at home’.
